I’m not that good on a mountain bike nor am I in any kind of the shape I should be to be trying to race one. But that didn’t stop me from riding the Keyesville Classic with a bunch of friends who are way better at this than I am. I rode 40-49 Sport and in the all-mountain classification I managed to finish fifth place. It is strange to race something without the ability to win, so I just go to have a good time and see how well I can do, much different than the way I approached motorcycles. Lats year Heather and I competed in the Tandem Class (winning!) and maybe next year we’ll be back!
